Synopsis:
Stanley Parker and his wife Brenda are on their first continental holiday in France, trying to rekindle their marriage. On the eve of a local festival, they consider themselves lucky on finding a hotel room.
But with Brenda absent, Stanley finds himself embroiled with Helga, a married woman who is mistakenly booked in the same room. Confusion turns to chaos with the arrival of Claude Philby, Helgaâs husband, followed by the arrival of Claude's girl friend, Simone.
By the second hour, almost everybody is in the wrong bed and confrontations run rampant. A plot twist ends this farce and the a weary and dazed Stanley wishes they had spent their vacation at a nice, quiet English seaside resort.
